Like most mothers of school age children, I recently endured the return of the school year. In an effort to cram the most bang into our summer possible, we ran in "full speed ahead" mode the complete week before the return of the school year. We managed to cram some last minute summer enjoyment in with fall preparations, soccer games, shopping trips, and a wildberry smoothie from Cariboo Coffee. By Saturday evening, when we were ready to sit down and watch a movie as a family, the overabundance of activity caught up with Smoochie. He was done. Right down to the smoothie remnants on his forehead. So I snapped yet another picture of him, and gave my heart a little reminder of the reason why I nicknamed him Smoochie in the first place.

Oh, he is so stinkin' CUTE!
The start of school is killing me. My kids don't go to sleep like normal people...every night at bedtime I feel like I want to pull out all of my hair.
How I WISH I could take a picture like that fabulous one you took!!
What a sweetheart!!
What a doll! This just seems to scream (or, ha, whisper!) "all boy"!
So sweet!
We have jam packed this week with summer fun too- I am not ready for the summer to end just yet.
That is a great picture!
I swear, you get the cutest pics of your kiddos. Poor little guy....
Such a handsome guy! Great shot and I think Smoochie fits perfectly!
That's a great shot. My favorite part is the smoothie remnants on his forehead. It reminds me of when I was a kid, somehow I always ended up with food behind my ears -- a fact my mom has never let me forget.
I love to watch my worn out kids fall asleep on the couch, the floor, or even my lap. Best of all, their dad gets to carry them to bed! Cute shot!
cute - was he sleeping - or almost there???
How cute is he?!
My kids start school on Tuesday, so you can bet that this weekend is going to be full of activity!
I think it's time for bed! I Love him right down to remnants on his forehead! Should I wet my finger and wipe it off? I know how much you loved that!
Love Mom
Oh that is precious! We did the same thing. Mad dash to the end of summer. We just weren't ready to accept it was over. Love this photo!
You beat me to it, I was going to say that by the photo I could tell how he got his nickname. ;) Poor kid, mom wore him out!
Awwww -- that is tooooo cute!
Yea for kids who are so exhausted from days of fun that they can't keep their eyes open. Precious.
give em a moment and they are out!
