Weight Loss Wednesday

OOFTA...

+4 this week.

I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. I caved like a sand castle at high tide. I can't even think of anything to defend myself. No excuses, I floundered. This week I'm re-focusing and hopping right back on the healthy train. I'm thinking of riding a 46 mile ride in a couple of weeks, which will be a major challenge for me. I know I can do 20 miles without seizing like a blown engine, so the next challenge is 46. I can already tell you what will be crossing my mind at mile#23...

Oofta, what ON EARTH was I thinking?

Ohhhhh, I'm so sorry.....I KNOW how you feel....I ate way too much baked potato dip this weekend...arrggghh. I wish I lived w/ paved roads to be able to ride my bike....every time I get started riding, a car comes along at a million miles an hour and throws rocks and dirt everywhere. I even have an old lady tricycle.....ba haaaaa.

You'll do good on your 46 miler. Just keep chug'n, just like you always do. Mile 23 will turn into mile 24 24 into 25...before you know it, you'll be limping home with a very proud Bonehead

The good thing is you're acknowledging this, and then casting it out. Sometimes I have to get through the day just telling myself every hour is a new hour to start over, so I wish you well. I think it's great you have this bike ride on the horizon as a great goal! Good luck!

MynEuroticSpot. I like the half german emphasis on your blog title.

ANWHAYYY.. Sorry it is my fault about tauber Bonnefire date snafu.

This way we have time to do our budget version of Burning Man.

You guys can toss rusty Jarts at me in retribution while I recite the ending sequence to 'There Will Be Blood'. "I am a false prohet and God is a superstition!"

I hadn't heard OOFTA before, but I am totally down. I am incorporating that into my slang vocabulary.

That's OK Jeff, I won't hold it against you. I do plan to hold it against John for another week or so- just because it's fun.

We'll see y'all NEXT MONTH, although I always get a little nervous when I know John, adult beverages, and open flame are going to be mixed together with old friends.

Actually, I'm looking forward to it.

Who wouldn't look forward to that, you can't pay for entertainment of that caliber.
